Why would I use this service?
The Virtual Recruiter optimizes Eagle’s strong reputation in the IT marketplace and high-volume web traffic to provide more visibility for your job opening. This extensive exposure, in collaboration with our expertise to identify top applicants, will ultimately save you time and money while attracting the best candidates.
Will an Eagle salesperson try to sell me staffing services?
No. We recognize and respect that some customers prefer alternative job posting tools, rather than staffing agencies. We’ve built this tool and screening service using our 13+ years of industry experience as a powerful means to help you get what you want and need – a great IT resource.
How much does it cost to post a job listing?
Virtual Recruiter packages start as low as $850. That includes having your job posted in Eagle’s job centre for up to 15 days, as well as a highlight of the top applicants and a copy of every other resume received during the posting period. Hire as many of the applicants you choose, all at the same cost.
How long will you post my job?
Jobs will be posted for up to 15 days, unless you specify otherwise. Fifteen days has proven to be the most effective posting duration to attract qualified candidates and take action on them before they are off the market.
Will I find the perfect candidate?
Eagle is viewed by thousands of technology professionals every week. There are unique circumstances to every job search and we guarantee that you will get the visibility needed to attract the right attention from the right type of resources.
How do I get started?
Simply use Eagle’s Job Posting Form or create your own job description and send it to us with any necessary screening information.
Do I get to see ALL the resumes of applicants from the posting?
Yes, and we add value by short-listing the top applicants for you.
How will Eagle screen and short list the top applicants from my posting?
Our resume review process will be done by professional IT recruiters with extensive experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. We will use the information you provide us, including key evaluation criteria and mandatory requirements to individually screen and short list all applicants.
How do I edit or remove my job posting?
If editing or removing the posting is required, please contact us and we will make the change immediately. Depending on when a request to remove a job is made, we may require 48 hours before we can return the screened resumes to you.
How long will it take to get my job posted?
We aim to have your job posted within two hours of your submission; however, it may take up to one business day.
What are the payment methods for this service?
We will invoice you for the sale. You will not receive your resumes at the end of the 15 day posting period until you have paid the due amount
Can I post a nation-wide job?
Yes, Eagle has a national reach with offices in major cities all across Canada, giving you extensive access to resources across the country. Our Job Centre is searched by thousands of professionals across the country.
How do I know the top candidates you recommend will be the top candidates from my perspective?
Our job posting template requests that you provide us with specific screening criteria so we are able to match your needs to the candidate. It is important that you respond to these criteria with as much detail as possible so we can match your needs to the best of our ability.
Can I just acquire the resumes and not have them screened by a recruiter?
Eagle’s Virtual Recruiter service aims to provide more value and help you save time. Part of the Virtual Recruiter’s quality standards is to provide you with the best possible service, which includes screened resumes. You will receive every resume that we receive, so you can choose to use the rankings or have your internal team filter through them.
How long can my job posting be?
The posting can be as long as you would like. Keep in mind that there is an ideal balance in how long your posting is. You want to ensure that you include enough detail so you get the best-matching candidates; however, you also want to keep the posting fairly concise so that potential applicants can understand the pertinent information in a timely manner.
Do I need to make an account?
No, but please be sure to include all necessary billing information when you send us your job posting.
How quickly will I get sorted resumes returned to me?
We aim to get them to you within 24 hours of the posting’s original expiry date.
