Accessibility at Eagle

Statement of Commitment

Eagle is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence; we believe in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements under the provincial legislation. This policy will be implemented in accordance with established timeframes.

Accessible Emergency Information

Eagle is committed to providing candidates and clients with publicly available emergency information in an accessible format upon request. We will also provide employees with disabilities with individualized emergency response information when necessary.

All Eagle offices are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team is continuing to work remotely and all services remain available.


Eagle will ensure that training is provided on the requirements of the accessibility standards as legislated and will continue to provide training on the Human Rights Code as it pertains to persons with disabilities, to:

  • All its employees (including Summer/Co-op students, interns, casual workers);

  • All persons who participate in developing Eagle’s policies; and,

  • All other persons who provide goods, services or facilities on behalf of the company

The training will be appropriate to the duties of the employees, volunteers and other persons. When there are changes to the accessibility policy, employees will be updated and re-trained accordingly. New employees will be trained during their onboarding process and Eagle will keep a record of that training.

Self-Serve Kiosks

Eagle will consider the needs of people with disabilities when designing, procuring or acquiring self-service kiosks.

Accessibility Policies

The following policies have been developed to break down barriers and increase accessibility for persons with disabilities in the areas of customer service, information and communication, employment, transportation and design of public spaces. Eagle is governed by this policy and will act in accordance with Regulation 191/11, “Integrated Accessibility Standards” (Regulations) under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 20015 to meet the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities.
