A Facebook post does not constitute news.
Reality TV is not reality that is going to improve your world.
How do you get your news?
How do you grow your knowledge base?
When was the last time you read a newspaper?
Do you read industry periodicals?
Reading fiction is good because it expands your vocabulary and exercises the brain, but do you also read non-fiction books?
How do you learn about world news?
Are your sources sanitized (biased) snippets or “news flashes”?
Is the internet your sole source of information? That might be OK as long as you go deep, but just because a website “says so” does not mean it is fact!
Just because you read does not mean you have the answers either.
The pace of change is relentless, if you don’t keep up then you will be passed.
Reading will not ensure your success, but lack of reading will certainly ensure your failure.
If you were to read an hour a day, it would likely put you 365 hours a year ahead of your “competition”.
Invest in yourself … exercise your reading skills!
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.” Henry Ford
