Eagle’s client is seeking three (3) Data Analysts for nine (9) month contract opportunities.

Key Data Analyst Skills
  • Five plus (5+) years’ experience with a solid understanding of SQL and other DB constructs including stored procedures, functions, views, and execution plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of code optimization, including development/coding best practices
  • Five plus (5+) years’ experience creating automated reports, using advanced techniques with various systems and tools, and with emphasis on efficient, high quality code and identification/mitigation of data integrity problems
  • Five plus (5+) years’ experience, a solid understanding, and demonstrated ability to apply Data Warehouse and Data Modeling methodologies into practice. With a focus on understanding relational and dimensional data models for analysis and reporting of data
  • Hands on experience developing reports and architecture layer objects in MicroStrategy and Tableau, along with experience creating data and using data transformation processes through the use of Alteryx or other ETL tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical teams as well as business user
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Clearly communicating project statuses with leaders and project teams;
  • Engaging in quality assurance processes to create a high standard of accuracy;
  • Ensuring exception and error handling techniques are used;
  • Using understanding of business rules to enhance logic used in reporting and analysis;
  • Seeking out new technology and processes to improve team ability and reach;
  • Verbally and visually presents reporting and analysis findings to leaders and stakeholders of various levels;
  • Work submitted for QA is returned with a low number of errors;
  • Prioritizing multiple projects within own work stream to deliver with little impact to timelines;
  • Managing relationships with data source providers for issues and support;
  • Consistently incorporates reconciliation in published reports and datasets;
  • Proving or disproving relationships between variables (causal);
  • Forecasting business measures with confidence and accuracy;
  • Assisting with development planning with other team members;
  • Taking on and seeking out opportunities to mentor and coach; and,
  • Championing best practices in quality and reliability.
