If there is one thing that GREAT salespeople do, it is to be very focused on bringing in the deals. Any activity not directly attributed to closing business is a lower priority to these people.
These are the salespeople that consistently deliver.
These are the salespeople that truly understand that they can only be selling when they are spending time with their customers … so they spend a lot of time with their customers.
These are the salespeople that don’t spend time researching, or building spreadsheets, or spend “sales time” meeting with friends or colleagues instead of clients.
If you want to be a GREAT salesperson you will make maximum use of your “selling time“. Even the kid selling lemonade understands that!
