Job description

Eagle’s client is seeking a Conversion Lead for a one (1) year contract opportunity.

Key Conversion Lead Skills
  • Ten plus (10+) years project experience building application or delivering software solutions as a developer or analyst
  • Five plus (5+) years focus on data conversion initiatives
  • Migration experience (data)
  • Lead experience with other developers
As a Conversion Lead, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing overall guidance and mentorship to the migration team to ensure migration is successful;
  • Working with the team and vendors to identify the list of tasks and dependencies for all aspects of the migration work and provide to management;
  • Meeting with and support business leaders, product managers, program auditors, and risk management team;
  • Helping identify and raise migration issues, risks, and resource needs to management;
  • Communicating, coordinating, and collaborating with the vendors and the other program teams to help ensure overall program success;
  • Creating and maintaining the Data Migration and Retention Strategy;
  • Reviewing the following deliverables to ensure the overall migration solution fits together and meets requirements;
  • Implementing and overseeing change control procedures for the migration strategy, analysis, development, and testing artifacts to ensure incremental changes are identified and incorporated;
  • Coordinating application enhancement requests including reviewing service requests for privacy and confidentiality impacts, conducting preliminary analysis and estimation, development in accordance with the system development life cycle, and final user testing and acceptance;
  • Acting as Leader and mentor to a team of application support personnel;
  • Performing work load management and monitoring to ensure optimal utilization of team resources; monitoring team resource level in relation to workload and advising Manager of required adjustments;
  • Ensuring maintenance/creation of detailed system support documentation;
  • Analyzing business processes and make recommendations to implement new or improved work flows following accepted methodologies such as ITIL;
  • Working with other Clients to ensure production systems remain operational;
  • Facilitating sessions with Client representatives as required;
  • Establishing a strong working relationship with Clients and interact effectively with all levels of Client personnel;
  • Providing Project Management and leadership to junior resources in modifying business applications in accordance with all applicable standards; and,
  • The implementation of new business application systems, and requests for change and enhancements to existing business systems while ensuring that proper change and incident management processes and security assessment procedures are adhered to.
