As a Cyber Security Program Lead, you must understand the management and security environments of our client (internal clients) and those of managed clients (external clients) in terms of the variety of our client's cybersecurity objectives.
Your primary role will be to lead the SOC transformation program with major deliverables like automation prioritization and security controls roadmap. You’ll be involved in technical, financial and strategic discussions and decisions involving multiple stakeholders.  Join this project team at one of Canada’s top leaders in their industry. This is a 6-month contract to start in May.

Key Skills for Cyber Security Program Lead:

  • University degree in engineering, business administration, information technology or related disciplines
  • Three plus (3+) years of experience in strategic planning
  • Three plus (3+) years of experience in project/program management of Security, Network or IT technology solutions
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the cybersecurity domain and leading cybersecurity projects and programs would be a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Autonomous, self-learner and ability to assimilate new methodologies, frameworks and technologies
  • High tolerance to ambiguity and ability to adapt in a fast-evolving environment
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with the capability to identify solutions to complex problems
  • Strong dedication to customer focus
  • Strong leadership abilities and business acumen
  • Strong dedication to customer focus
  • Ability to manage time and priorities across multiple projects and duties
  • Excellent synthesis and analysis capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

As Cyber Security Program Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead, track and influence the SOC transformation program (automation prioritization and security controls roadmap) from a planning, delivery and financial perspective
  • Support financial plan and an annual budget of the security program (forecasting, tracking, analysis, reporting)
  • Analyze, evaluate and overcome program risk and manage the reporting and overall delivery
  • Support and encourage agile delivery approach and scrum methodology in the team, which includes leading planning, Kanban boards grooming and prioritization, retrospective sessions
  • Understand and track overall security posture by generating metrics and leading various related projects
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of security standards
  • Supervise the development and implementation of new technological approaches, services and methods and analyze the resulting impact on the security posture
