Maximo Developer (72729) - Long Term Contract

Our client needs the skills of a seasoned Maximo Developer for an 18-month contract starting in July.

Key Skills for Maximo Developer:

  • At least seven (7) years of experience as a Systems analyst or a Developer on Maximo
  • Expert experience with Asset Management, Work Management and Warranty Management, Supply Chain Management in the Transportation industry
  • Hands-on Experience with Maximo Transportation Modules including Warranty Management
  • A Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or business, or equivalent work experience in the work and asset management domain.
  • Excellent knowledge of application development and maintenance, projects Implementation methodologies and structured techniques for systems analysis, design and programming
  • Exceptional ability to analyze requirements and document technical design
  • Strong problem solving, planning and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), MS Project, and Visio
  • Ability to work independently with both technical staff and users at various levels to investigate and resolve technical problems
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), MS Project, and Visio
  • Experience developing in C#, .NET will be considered an asset
  • Major Maximo implementation experience
  • Thorough understanding of project management, data security audit concepts, systems analysis principles
  • Familiarity and understanding of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis and performance measurement
  • Self-motivated and is willing and able to work under pressure
  • Public Service and Transit experience would be an asset
  • Maximo certification will be considered an asset

As Maximo Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical analysis for preparing Functional requirements
  • Maintaining a productive and trustful relationship with representatives from various departments
  • Liaising with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve business issues
  • Configuring the Maximo system in accordance with approved business requirements
  • Providing technical and application support to business users during and after implementation phases.
  • Creating technical documentation according to the Project Management and SDLC Standards.
  • Providing on-site rollout and production support as part of new implementations.
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service by providing proactive and professional liaison with end-users and IT service staff.
  • Supporting business requirements, development and testing activities and provide clarification if necessary.
  • User Interface Development
  • Development of documentation including user and administrative guides
  • Performing system functionality verification and unit testing
  • Data analysis and loading through Integration Framework
  • Execution of Service Requests and Incident tickets during the Warranty phase
  • Occasional site visits in different GTA locations are required. The incumbent must be able to accept the required travel within GTA and comply with OHSA and company Health and Safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
