Are you a team player with excellent communication and Analytical skills? Our client is looking for you to fill the position of Program Manager. You will be responsible for the management and strategic direction for the overall program management of highly complex programs.

Top skills for Program Manager:

  • Ten plus (10)+ years demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex information technology/business projects in a service-based industry
  • Three plus (3+) years experience in developing M&A integration and separation plans and budgets and with post-merger processes and principles
  • Ability and confidence to communicate at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision. Experience developing presentations to senior leadership is critical
  • Experience in organizational change management practices and processes that address an organization’s change readiness
  • Proven experience using agile/lean best practices
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills experience
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; comfortable to work with limited information and high level of ambiguity
  • Knowledge of legal and contract management would be considered an asset

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Accountable to define, plan, orchestrate and deliver on strategic initiatives
  • Lead project stakeholders such as sponsors, clients, vendors, outsourcers/offshore resources (where applicable) and project team members to accomplish project objectives
  • Manage scope to ensure that the solution implemented fully meets the requirements, costs, time, quality and quantifiable business benefit/criteria expectations of the sponsor
  • Develops the project charter, integrated project plan, staffing resource plan, contingency plan and other project management artifacts such as RAID logs
  • Proactively works with workstream leaders to resolve issues and remove roadblocks. Identifies potential issues before they negatively impact the project
  • Tracks project expenses and validate financial forecasts with the project sponsor
  • Ensures all project documentation repository is up to date for all project documentation, business/technology documents related to any initiative, projects or programs; tracks and sets up deliverable process (sign-off, documentation)
  • Reports on the project and develops project status communications to management and firm leadership
  • Gathers input and facilitates lessons learned and post-implementation review meetings
