Job description

Eagle’s client is seeking a Project Manager for a three (3) month contract opportunity.

Key Project Manager Skills
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of progressive experience as a Project Manager and several years’ experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) ideal
  • Certified Project Management professional designation (PMP) ideal
  • Delivery or software development background a plus
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing all phases of large or several medium, high risk IT Application projects while leveraging best practice standards and processes;
  • Managing stakeholder relationships to ensure project delivery expectations are specified and successfully met;
  • Monitoring Scrum processes and support Product Owner on release planning and backlog management;
  • Strengthening the team’s understanding of Agile / Scrum principles and ensure application of these practices;
  • Ensuring the team’s actions are aligned with the project goals and vision;
  • Bringing transparency to Business, IT, and Operations about the team’s progress and Agile processes;
  • Fostering a continuous learning environment, helping teams adapt to changing circumstances;
  • Developing and managing detailed work plans, project schedules, estimates, and resource plans;
  • Defining and managing project risks and issues ensuring appropriate strategies and plans are in place to mitigate or handle effectively; and,
  • Ensuring effective and timely communication occurs within the project team and between the project team and stakeholders.
