Job description

Eagle’s client is seeking two (2) Security Analysts for one (1) year contract opportunities.

Key Security Analyst Skills
  • Experience working in the security information domain, exhibit business process proficiency, and be capable of bridging gaps between business and IT processes and teams
  • Experience in supporting and enabling IT security compliance standards established by the Canadian Federal Government is an asset
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST) is an asset
  • Security certifications are an asset (CISM, CISSP, CSX, etc.)
As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Documenting workflows and processes used by the business and systems;
  • Assembling supporting information as directed to enable the completion of PIAs and STRAs;
  • Working with internal and external clients to ensure their security requirements are documented and met;
  • Participating in the development of STRAs, PIAs, Vulnerability Assessments, etc.;
  • Supporting internal and external auditors with evidence to support compliance with policies;
  • Participating in all phases of the project life cycle (PLC) process and plan to ensure that security requirements are identified and met; and,
  • Reviewing logs (access control, anti-virus alerts, IPS/IDS, vulnerability scan results, etc.)
