Top skills for Senior Business Analyst (SAP):
Minimum 1 year of transit specific project experience working on time, attendance and transformation modernization initiatives as a Business Analyst
Minimum 8 years as a Business Analyst (see section 4.0 Deliverables)
At least 2 years of practical experience with using a wide variety of techniques to document requirements and in using a variety of models/diagrams/documents
Strong knowledge of time and attendance and workforce scheduling processes and integration to SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Payroll, and SAP Finance S/4
Strong standard knowledge of Time and Attendance Management, Absence Management, Workforce Scheduling Management, Workforce Policy and Pay Rules, Labor Laws and Union Agreements
Knowledge of SAP Time and Attendance products including Workforce Management
Major IT implementation experience and understanding how systems are affected by business process change
Expert, hands-on knowledge of MS Office tools
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
CBAP or equivalent is an asset
Post-secondary education in a related discipline
SAP Time Management is an asset
Hands-on experience in SAP Payroll is a strong asset
Understanding of SAP’s Activate Methodology
Public Service and Transit experience is an asset.
As the Senior Business Analyst (SAP), you will be responsible for:
Participate in the deployment of the new business processes including end-user training and transition to support Team;
Prepare and maintain associated project documentation as necessary;
Work closely with end-users to ensure a common understanding of day to day processes;
Create test plans, training materials and system documentation for internal and external clients;
Prepare and maintain SAP business process documentation as necessary;
Assist with SAP End-User Training to all relevant stakeholders;
Prepare functional specs for all system changes, working with developers where necessary;
Participate in project planning, change management, communications, testing, training, go-live and post-go-live support activities;
Participate in the following areas: solution scoping, requirements analysis, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, application configuration, technical specification, testing, production deployment, support and training;
Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures and practices in performing required work;
Occasional off-site visits and offices in different GTA locations, and during different shifts, may be required. The incumbent must be able to accept the required travel within GTA and comply with OHSA and Health and Safety policies and procedures in the workplace;
Other project duties as assigned.
