Knowledge of systems analysis and design methods and techniques to develop system solutions and to manage servers and applications
Demonstrated understanding of testing and implementation methods and practices for testing and acceptance
Experience with systems and business operational disciplines and processes; skills in negotiation, conflict and problem resolution, change management and project coordination; current knowledge in new technologies and trends that may benefit emergency health services.
Knowledge of server and network technologies, hardware and facilities requirements (data centres) along with IT security policies to identify and evaluate IT options for clients and to design, develop and implement technology solutions
Experience with integrated voice and data switching systems, computer data communications architecture, radio-trunking systems design and P25 standards
Experience with VHF and UHF radio technologies
Experience with public safety dispatch systems integration and interface requirements to support continued interoperability of all systems and services
Experience with creating and managing data sources (SharePoint Lists, NoSQL database, etc.).
Experience creating custom reports, implementing change management and auditing data.
Experience with database integration
As the Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Capture business requirements, assess technical features and capabilities to create and update business rules based on the requirements
Provide Data Science services including Data Cleansing and Data Analytics
Create custom reports and Data Visualization as required, applying Microsoft Technologies, including Power BI
Create data sources using SharePoint Lists and NoSQL databases.
Conduct testing, integration and deployment of each developed solution
Document application changes & enhancements to existing features and new features as per approved requirements and design direction
Review and understand application changes and patches and system architecture of the EHS systems, and deploy updates as required and can support scalability requirements
Provide realistic work estimates to support project planning
Use structured methodologies, design best practices, and implement changes that are of quality and documented. Assure the proposed application(s) should function as required, without any defects and assure the application operates with the appropriate systems and other peripherals as identified
Create Documentation to train other technical IT staff to support the deployment.
Work with Microsoft Windows, Desktop and Laptop workstation support, Citrix Client, General Server Environment.
Use enterprise Service Management Toolsets, e.g. Remedy, to manage encryption-related tickets.
Respond to and coordinate encryption activities between clients & vendor appointments based on approved and scheduled Incident, Task and Work Order Records.
Update tickets and the CMDB to document the activities (e.g. Key management, removals, etc.).
Perform Audit activities as defined by the Radio Operations Manager.
