Ottawa-founded staffing firm Eagle Professional Resources has acquired Montreal-based recruiter Vallianz, the company announced on Monday.
The deal will help Eagle strengthen its presence in Quebec, according to a company press release. The acquisition will also give Eagle access to Vallianz’s talent.
"The executive team at Vallianz, specifically Gilbert Boileau and Luc Jobin, are recognized leaders in the Quebec staffing industry," said Terry Power, Eagle’s president, in the release.
The company did not reveal the terms of the acquisition.
Eagle has 10 staffing offices across the country, with corporate offices in Ottawa and Toronto.
It was the second largest staffing firm when ranked by number of employees in Ottawa as of last year, according to OBJ records.
