Eagle Named a Great Place to Work for Inclusion

Canadian Staffing Company Achieves Additional Recognition as a Great Place to Work

2018 Great Workplaces for InclusionOttawa, ON, February 15, 2018 – Eagle Professional Resources (Eagle), one of Canada’s leading staffing agencies, is proud to announce that it has been recognized on the 2018 Best Workplaces for Inclusion list by Great Place to Work (GPTW).

The 2018 Best Workplaces for Inclusion list recognizes 25 companies across Canada and is based on an independent analysis of direct feedback from employees surveyed by Great Place to Work. To be eligible, companies must have been a Great Place to Work in the previous year and at least 90% of employees must agree that they are treated fairly regardless of personal characteristics. GPTW determined Eagle to be one of the top 25 companies as a result of the staffing company’s workplace programs and practices that support inclusion, as well as the high scores given by its employees in GPTW’s inclusion-related Trust Index statements.

Eagle was not only a Great Place to Work last year, but has also earned a place on the list every year since 2015, and its Diversity and Inclusion programs have always played a significant role in achieving this recognition. The company’s leadership promotes a culture nation-wide that supports and encourages diversity in all forms, including gender, ethnicity, age and sexual orientation. In addition to programs that educate staff on all cultures, holidays and historical milestones, every member of the Eagle Team also receives one paid day off of their choosing so they can celebrate a holiday unique to their culture each year.

“Every successful company requires a strong team with innovative ideas and Eagle firmly believes that diversity plays a key role in building that team. We’ve made a conscious effort to build inclusion into everything we do to ensure everyone at Eagle has a positive environment where they can to do their best work,” said CEO Janis Grantham. “Thank you to Great Place to Work for recognizing these efforts and congratulations to all other companies that have been recognized.”

Although this is Eagle’s first appearance on the Best Workplace for Inclusion list, as noted, Eagle is not new to Great Place to Work or its segmented lists. In addition to being named a Best Workplace in Canada for three consecutive years, they have also been named a Great Workplace for Women twice and received a special award in the Fairness Category in 2016. Most recently, Eagle was certified for another year as a Great Workplace by GPTW.\
