Eagle Presented with ACSESS Professional Development Award

Professional Staffing Company Recognized as the Canadian Industry Leader in Employee Education and Awareness

ACSESS

Ottawa, ON, May 15, 2015 – Eagle Professional Resources Inc. (Eagle) is honoured to receive the 2015 Professional Development Award presented by the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS).  The recognition represents Eagle’s exceptional commitment to employee education and awareness through continuous learning opportunities, including access to both industry-specific and in-house training for employees at all levels.

While Eagle is known throughout the industry for its extensive Onboarding Training Program, Eagle’s Professional Development Program extends far beyond onboarding.  In addition to a unique onboarding process for all new employees, year-round training is available to all employees through initiatives such as regular Lunch N’ Learns, generous training allowances, and annual company-wide meetings that train staff on the latest recruitment trends and best practices.  All of these have contributed to making Eagle one of the most desirable places to work in the country, as proven by recent awards from Great Places to Work and Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures.

“It is an honour to receive this award from ACSESS, our industry association.  It confirms and further establishes Eagle as a leader in this area,” said Breigh Radford, Eagle’s Director of Human Resources.  “Our commitment to Training and Development has held strong for many years and to be recognized for the hard work done by our team is not only exciting but motivating.  We plan to take our program to the next level and set the bar even higher for others to attain.”

“A professional and knowledgeable team is the key to making any business run successfully and it is the company’s responsibility to build that team.” said Eagle’s CEO, Kevin Dee. “We are fortunate here in Canada that ACSESS makes so many staffing-specific training programs available to our industry.”

ACSESS is the single voice for promoting best industry practices for the recruitment, employment and staffing services industry in Canada. ACSESS supports advancement of the staffing industry through professional training and certification programs, leading to a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation. Its more than 800 member offices help businesses respond to changing need and offer a broad range of employment opportunities and services.

The Professional Development Award is not the first award the staffing agency has received from ACSESS.  Eagle is a two time recipient of association’s Community Service Award (2008 and 2002), which recognizes extraordinary commitment and genuine concern for the community, and in 2012, Eagle’s CEO received the ACSESS Award of Excellence.
